A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. Some are essential for the shop to work; others help us measure how the site is used.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary — no consent required
The shop cannot work without these, so they are always set:
- WooCommerce (
woocommerce_cart_hash,woocommerce_items_in_cart,wp_woocommerce_session_*): keep your basket and checkout session. Lifetime: session to 2 days. - WordPress (
wordpress_logged_in_*,wp-settings-*): only if you log in, to keep you signed in. Lifetime: session to 1 year. - Payment providers (WooPayments/Stripe and PayPal): transaction security and fraud prevention during checkout.
- Consent manager (
cookieyes-consent): remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again. Lifetime: up to 1 year.
Analytics and attribution — consent required
None of the cookies below are set unless you accept them. If you reject or ignore the banner, the scripts that create them are not loaded at all.
- Google Analytics (
_ga,_ga_*): tells us how many people visit the shop and which pages they view, in aggregate. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Lifetime: up to 2 years. - WooCommerce order attribution (
sbjs_first,sbjs_current,sbjs_session,sbjs_udata,sbjs_migrations,sbjs_first_add,sbjs_current_add): record where you arrived from, so we can tell which channels lead to sales. Lifetime: session to 6 months.
Before you make a choice, Google’s tag is loaded with storage consent denied: it sets no cookies and cannot identify you. It only starts measuring if you accept analytics cookies.
Managing your cookies
The first time you visit you will see a notice where you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time from that same notice.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that if you block the strictly necessary ones you may not be able to complete a purchase.
